Dear Fab Owners Association Member - the next quarterly meeting (Q3/2010) will be held Wednesday July 15 at Semicon West in San Francisco. This year the format will be changed to accommodate a “speed networking” event during the afternoon session.
Earlier this year we invited all FOA device makers to participate in our speed networking event. 10 device makers responded positively to having a table at our event. In May we issued an invitation to all our associate members to identify who among our participating device maker members they would like to have a 20 minute meeting. We are still collecting those requests. We will close those requests by June 11. Each device maker has the right to prioritize the limited amount of engagements they will have that afternoon. The response has been very enthusiastic, and we expect most device makers to have a full agenda.
Speed networking is a lot like speed dating. FOA will be providing individual meeting areas for all enrolled Device Makers. We will also be providing all enrolled Associate Members with a “dance card” which will list the device maker companies who have accepted a meeting with them. Associate members will receive this information in plenty of time to prepare for these meetings. This speed networking event will take place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco during Semicon West 2010. You must register for free admittance to Semicon West. Registration after June 4 and onsite will be $100.
The cost for participating in this member’s only event is zero for all members.
There will be a cocktail reception at the end of the day’s events for all participants.
